I wish there was a way to enforce the "timid" aspect of the timid park - people often bring in dogs that are very aggressive. The water fountains don't work very well. Otherwise it's a nice spot. The area with the play equipment is cool.

I love how this dog park is right by the lake, so it offers some nice views. Also there's a parking area nearby it, and also one by the recreation building; both have accessible spots and there's a nice paved sidewalk that leads up to the dog park. The dog park area is well-maintained too and clean. There's two sections- gated off. Inside each, there are benches for owners to sit, and they also had some play equipment inside for dogs - such as a small climbing ramp and a climbing "steps" structure. Plenty of room for dogs to run around as well in the grassy areas.

This dog park is the best in town. With shade and areas to sit, plus two separate areas (one for timid dogs) it is fantastic. Go early before it gets too hot!

Well maintained, and play equipment for dogs. Spacious and two options; one for active dogs and one for timid dogs. Water dispenser and bowls as well.

We would love this park but I'm so frustrated with owners bringing big, hyperactive, and untrained dogs into the timid dog park area. It doesn't matter how sweet they are or that theyre "just excited to play." That's dangerous and irresponsible and just ruins the fun. Just take them to the active side and handle your freakin dogs!
