Cordova Park in Mission Viejo off Felipe is my kids favorite park in Orange County this year due to the various more exciting playground equipment that children over 8 seem to really enjoy. Most playgrounds in Orange County are pretty tame but this one has quite a few that will spin fast and let you ride pretty high. The field next to it also has a baseball field and volleyball court. There were plenty of park benches and a walking trail for the dog with poop bags. It had beautiful flowers along the park and is overall just a wonderful park to take your family to.

Very nice greenbelt park with trees and flowers. They provide doggy bags by the trash cans to keep this park clean. Lots of friendly people walking there dogs.

I took a short walk to get a look at this park. It has a great playground along with a few picnic tables, benches and trees. Please note: the restrooms sure across the street at the Felipe Recreation Center.

Great local park to take the kids because of it's unique playground activities. There is a small sandbox, swings, spinning ball, jungle gym, a hanging see saw, and a strange zip line thing that doesn't work properly. There are also signs about insects, birds, and plants around the park. There are restrooms across the street at the tennis/pickleball courts.

Straight out the gate, I took 3 stars away because of little to no shade and how hot the playground equipment was in February in 68° weather. If you're from that area, you know how freaking hot Mission gets in the summer. I can't imagine having my kid play there during the warmer months, and it's not really a "little kid" friendly playground. It's definitely a "big kid" playground. 2 stars for the neighborhood being safe and parking is easy.
