Cove Dog Park

We used this dog park while visiting the area. It has everything you would expect from a dog park but here were several things that detracted from it but only a little. The parking lot is gravel. That usually wouldn't be a problem but it was wet and a little muddy when we went. It also has active mounds of ants. I am not sure but they looked like fire ants. They are apparently trying to deal with the ants which may mean this is a temporary problem.

My furbaby loved it!!! Clean and we'll kept. Perfect size.... Not to busy but all others that showed up were really nice and pups well behaved. Had a nice time. And it's super close to home

Great looking park. My dog loves water and unfortunately found the giant mud puddle in the center. She had a blast. Once we have a few dry days, I look forward to taking her back.

I really enjoy taking Stanley to Cove Dog Park. He loves the freedom even though he's not a runner at all. He just 'sniffs, pees & poops' and I am one who picks up Stanley's deposits because in Australia it was strictly compulsory to do so. I actually am relieved that most of the time we are alone and that actually works well for me. The park is wonderfully looked after, it is always mowed and there is always water present. I really enjoy taking Stanley (who is a Husky/Shepherd) to the park and he enjoys it so much I am not always successful in getting him to come back to me to come home.

Nice dog park, water available, area divided into Small Dogs and Large Dogs. Plenty of parking available. Sheltered table for people.
