Living in a city, it's difficult to see a lot of fireflies in the summer, but it was possible in this park 3-4 yrs ago. As the year goes by, the number of fireflies decreased, but the wetland nearby has been created and the air quality is good. It is a precious little park that I look forward to every summer. I look forward to seeing many fireflies again like stars in the sky on a bright clear night. I recommend this valuable park for Fort lee residents whoever wants to enjoy a quite walk, fresh air and insects singing all throughout summer. It is awesome for dog walk too.
I like the crowd, I like the playground, but those basketball courts need a lot of work. The pavement is dilapidated and the backboards are old. The rims are have no spring on them, so it's hard to get a friendly roll with any of the shots. Lastly, the courts don't even have lines painted there. With all of the tax money that Fort Lee has made on the new high rise buildings and movie theatres, I would expect them to put a little work into that park. It's a ritzy town. Real estate is annoyingly inflated there, so I don't know why they have not renovated this park yet.
It is a small park in the Fort Lee area with a limited playground for kids. It also has a basketball court and tennis. This is in a very safe neighborhood in Fort Lee. Nearing it is another bigger park.
This park is very good because the playground is good for my toddler. And is always full with people.
Sat and Sun parking for Fort Lee residents only ($38 ticket). Otherwise 2 hour limited on parking.
