A clean, safe and scenic park that I recommend to enjoy outdoor walks. The well maintained path and bridges around this lake is an approximate 1 mile loop. There are turtles and cranes to watch. There are public restroom facilities available.

One of the most spectacular parks in Orlando. I'm biased as I live nearby and visit quite often. The lake is the show stopper of course, and the meandering boardwalks and trails make excellent use of the park to take you through and around the lake. You can see usually see a plethora of wildlife, including turtles and a variety of birds both daytime and nighttime. I usually go for a run around the park, which is always picturesque and serene. The city has events throughout the year, including the very popular 'Red, Hot & Boom' fireworks display for 4th of July, and Trick or treat for Halloween, and various others (too many to remember) along the way. I am adding my pics of the park @ Christmas, as it is very well decorated and makes for a fun picture adventure with the kids at Christmas time. Parking is ample. The park is adjacent to the Altamonte Mall, so regardless of the event, there is always more than enough parking to accommodate the masses. The City and the Altamonte PD does an excellent job at managing the crowds and safety during the event. They pretty much have it down to a science. Pedestrian safety is paramount, and they make it quite easy to get to and to navigate each event. This park has a lot to offer regardless of when you go there. Even more than I've gotten into here in this review (restaurants along the park, an autonomous bus to ride around in, the architecture and park layout, pavilions, etc). You won't be disappointed with a trip to Cranes Roost Park.

The place is stunning! Right now, it's decorated amazingly for Christmas. The park is huge, it has ornamental fish, massive lawns, and restaurants. The place is lively and beautiful! There are lots of birds-we enjoyed every moment! It’s one of the most beautiful parks in the area. Highly recommended!

Beautiful park — a very pleasant place for a walk. You can see fish and turtles swimming in the lake, which makes it even more relaxing. And by November 30th the holiday decorations were already up, creating a lovely festive atmosphere

This is an amazing place for a walk, run or just to spend some time. Great views and environment. The would really be a great place for a bike ride. All the different features make this a must to see and enjoy. It worked out for me as I was staying at the Embassy Suite. This became a perk.
