Very nice place - highly recommend visiting! It has a large open grassy area for those long ball throws and doggo runs. It has a wash station outside the front gate to hose off shoes/pets. There are lots of well shaded trails for those hot summer walks. There are plenty of benches and tables throughout the property for rests. There is a water fountain and a portable toilet at the entrance. There is a separate smaller dog area as well. I bought the daily pass to try it out, but plan to buy a yearly pass in the future. You can buy the required passes online from the Dakota County website.

This place is great. I have had any issues with aggressive dogs and it seems everyone is really helpful and nice. Large areas for the dogs to run in. The walking trails are great and covered in wood chips so even after the rain, you don't get super muddy. Things to be aware of: 1. Water is NOW provided. This means no more having to bring your own! 2. Toys are technically not allowed. People will fuss at you if you bring them and it's better you don't. Toys cause fights. 3. In the evening (during the summer), the bats come out. They will swoop by your head. 4. Make sure YOU and your dog have tick protection. 5. They added a light for the nighttime in the main area, which is great. However, the back trails are unlit so keep that in mind if you go at night.

Its a really great dog park, with one major exception, the smell from the mulch place next door. Its not always bad, most days you can't smell it, but there are some days its just too awful to stay at the park. Otherwise we absolutely adore this park, we like walking through the paths in the trees and playing in the big open field.

My dogs love it here. It's a great mix of open and wooded area so you can run around and walk with your dog. With the recent defending they also added a small dog play area too. There is a cost to going here. 8.00 a pop or just buy a yearly pass for 50.00. It comes with 2 passes and up to 2 dogs.

I have been coming here for 10 years. It is so great what the county has done to make it so pleasant to come here. I would say this is the best dog park I. All of Dakota Count. You will see why it's worth registering $$.
