Great basic dog park adjacent to parking, kids playground and trailhead. Two fenced in areas...one for big dogs and second for the wee ones. Water is available.

My husband and I brought our new dog, WALL-E here for his first visit to the dog park. This park made it a comfortable place to start, since we were able to start him off with the small dog area first. Once we observed that he was open to more, we were able to bring him over to the large dog area as well. This park has beautiful scenery, trails for hiking and plenty of space for walking and playing. On our way in, we came across a Girl Scout’s stand selling cookies! Very nice park and community.

It’s not closed, but give it a pass anyway. It’s small, poorly lit and not at all convenient to get to. Very much a community park intended for those in the neighborhood it’s in and nobody else. My experience was one of having to listen to two small boys running around with no shoes, rolling in the poo covered grass and screaming at full volume near constantly for a dog that never came anywhere close to them whilst a disinterested dad sat on a bench on the opposite side of the park never looking up from his phone. For those of us who chose dogs over kids, this one isn’t worth the drive. I feel horrible for Dusty the dog that wisely and obviously wanted nothing to do with his family.

Overall, the Deem Hills park is awesome! The dog park is really nice and you can’t beat the views. We still want to try the hiking trails but it’s getting pretty warm. Beautiful park, highly recommend! 🐶🐶

Deems is a great park and not just for the dogs. The new tennis, pickle ball, and basket ball courts are great. The soccer fields are always being used on the weekends which is awesome. During the week an easy walk around the park with plenty of rabbits. Bring the dog for the large or small dog enclosure depending on size. The grass is a little worn, but the dogs don't care!
