Nice steep hill at the start of the hike from this end. You'll end up in the West Creek reservation and the closest parking lot is bluebird point. The watershed stewardship center is just a little past it. This trail is gravel and dirt, and at the far end it's paved.
We walked from the Center-Park parking area to the Dentzler Trailhead and back. Nice trail, some low spots are still wet but you don't need boots. Trail is pretty well maintained and the bridges are in excellent shape. Metroparks is doing a nice job of caretaking. Recommended
Nice trail. BIG hill going down at the beginning and on the way back up. Needs more on-street parking on dentzler. A bathroom portapotty would be nice.
Great spot for local quick hikes. Connects to the watershed via trails. However not a fan of the steep incline/decline to enter the trail. A switchback would have made way more sense.
Dentzler trailhead is a starting point to get to West Creek Reservation. It starts off with a very steep hill which can get slippery with the amount of huge stones on the trail. What you get down the hill you'll be able to cross Three Bridges on your way to West Creek.
