I was visiting from WI and googled parks near me and this came up. It was very nice to walk in the relative cool of the morning. Very family friendly - I saw kids with parents playing on the play equipment. There's sidewalks all around the perimeter and ones throughout the park. It looks like the city has done a LOT of recent construction and improvements to this park and it's in a nice neighborhood! I felt safe walking by myself on a Saturday morning. Lots of people walking 🐕s as there is a fenced-in dog park area within the park. Additionally there is a basketball court that's covered as well as restrooms, benches and seats with tables so you could sit and eat, read a book, etc. If you're in the area, this is a great one to check out!

A wonderful little playground right near a great coffee shop. We went on an overcast day, so it was wonderful. On sunny days I think it would be pretty hot. There are shades above the playground equipment but not much elsewhere

Love this park! I’ve been coming to this park for years and the remodel that has happened to the park is the best thing ever. There is a well lit picnic area for you to feel safe and comfortable to sit and eat and enjoy the beautiful city of San Antonio . The restroom is unsex which I love ! Toilet paper is provided. 🫶 The doggie park looks very clean and well kept . The park is patrolled hourly to make sure the community is safe .

Nice clean park I only was at ..... kinda like the an arboretum. Which was very tranquil, and the restored homes in and around the country park. I didn't see any seats in the area. In the arboretum it was bordered with brick which makes for good seatings..... but I'd take a seat cushion...... I will next time

I’d say it’s a great new dog park. Larger dog park for San Antonio, not as big as McAllister but still a great size. Lots and lots of seating, tho no shade or areas to avoid rain/drizzle. There’s a water fountain and outside seating as well. Could be a really cute park for people to hangout at. It’s mulch, not dirt so it’s a bit less muddy. Overall 4/5
