Dodge Park is a wonderful park and you’d find a lot of modern amenities here, but I want to tell you that I don’t think Dodge Park itself is where this park shines. It’s in the events, the Sterlingfest, the farmers market. Because when you walk the trails at dodge park, you realize just how beautiful the whole Clinton River Trail Parkway system is. I always start at Farmstead and walk to Dodge Park from there, but I recommend taking a long hike down that trail and trying to see both ends as well as where the other trailheads lead from. Do not forget to walk down to the Sterling Heights nature center too before it closes at 3pm!

Very large, very nice park system! One very large, flat paved trail through a variety of forest, with several additional bike trails through the deeper woods. The larger trail goes at least a couple miles in two different directions and connects to several other parks. The park also offers numerous sporting facilities: basketball, volleyball, hockey/skating. Also many play structures for children. Even a splash pad. ...and apparently beavers...

My partner and I love going through the trails to find tiny toads or some garden snakes or deer or birds etc., but I also like going around and seeing all of the pretty foliage. I have a lot of photos, but here are the ones from our most recent trip!

First time there. Very clean. Quite large. Great trails for walking my dog. They have a mountain bike path, too! There is a small water park there as well. Pavilions and tables with places to grill for a picnic. Clinton River runs along the park, so you get some good scenery along your walk. Not to mention, the few ponds scattered about that draw in the ducks and geese. Reminds me of a smaller Stony Creek with fewer people.

Very beautiful park for all ages and the best place to get out in nature and take a walk or jog and bike on there trails also have the splash pad in the summer months lots of areas just to have a picnic and or BBQ bring some bread and feed the ducks/geese it's one of my favorite parks in South East Michigan so if you are in Sterling heights or 17 mile and vandyke check out this park and go for a walk on the trails or bring the kids and let them burn off some energy! Your soul will thank you for the walk in the woods I promise! Have a great day
