This is a gem within the City of Tampa park system. Are there better parks, probably, but this dog beach is lovely. Ample space for the dogs to run around, nice entrance that is double fenced with water for drinking and to wash down your pets after being done. Not a whole lot of shade, but if you come early enough you can find a spot. Coming during low tide is very fun.

Very nice, big fenced beach BUT wear your shoes because it is very rocky. Lots of benches for humans, very nice big grassy area and has water fountains for both humans and dogs, also two hoses to wash off dogs and feet.

Absolutely beautiful beach!! My dog loved it! The waters perfect amount of shallow unless you go very far out. Beach is big so plenty of space and a few picnic tables and concrete seats!! They even have a water hose to wash your baby off before you leave the park. It is fenced in so you can let your fur baby leash free! 4 paws up for sure!!

OYSTER BEWARE! I’ve been bringing my dogs here for years without issue, but yesterday—within just 10 minutes—both of my dogs sliced their paws open on oysters. They were bleeding badly, and one of my dogs required emergency stitches, resulting in a $2,500 vet bill. Please be extremely cautious and do not allow your dogs to run freely if you see oysters in the area. I learned this lesson the hard way and hope this helps prevent the same thing from happening to others.

Great private dog beach that's public! There's a playground for children and there are bathrooms and barbecue grills.
