This was a nice off-leash dog area. We like to be able to feel comfortable taking our dog off-leash for little walks. At some point, there were signs that said dogs needed to be leashed again, but no one really seems to follow that rule on this side of the park anyway. Marty (the dog) gives this walk/area a 9/10. There were too many dogs in the off-leash are for his preference. Otherwise, it was perfect.

We ennjoyed walking from one end of Pine Lake/ Stern Gove to the other with our dog. Part of dog park is under construction. A cool green space tucked away in a canyon with an unexpected lake.

I’ve been too many dog parks in SF, but this one is my favorite. This definitely feels like a “locals-only” place. All owners are fairly respectful and take care of the place. This park is very off leash friendly. After living in Rincon Hill for many years, this was a very good change of pace, as many of the dogs off leash were clearly trained to get along with dogs. Majority of the dogs are on the larger side, but there are also many small dogs as well. There is a lot of parking for cars. I don’t recommend street parking because the park is below street grade. One of the downsides is that it’s not very pedestrian friendly to get to, and many people drive in to get to it.

So many dogs! Dogs everywhere! There’s a ton of space down here as well as a lot of very friendly people and dogs alike. Everything goes - if you’re dog absolutely needs a ball in their mouth, go for it! If they’re more of a dogs dog, there are always plenty willing to play. It tends to stay a bit foggy, but there seems to always be good wind shelter. Bring a jacket though!

Beautiful park very clean and filled with dogs. Wheelchair and stroller friendly with some inclines. Dogs on leashes required in some areas. Must pick up after pets. Keep this place beautiful don’t litter, wear a mask and social distance.
