Dogtopia of Downers Grove

My pup was flown over from Lebanon last March. We adopted him in April, and he’s needed some time to adjust. New experiences are so very vulnerable for him. I don’t even think Dogtopia knew that yet they met us where he was anyway. He was terrified the first day. They gave us multiple complimentary days until they felt he was adjusting and more relaxed, which he finally became. I can tell you from experience that some of the places we’ve been to before with our last dog were not like that. It was just about profit with them and not the sensitivities of the dogs’ needs. Dogtopia is amazing. Jessie, Jaden, Lily, Mercedes, Victoria, and Yasmine have been absolutely wonderful to our boy joy. They’ve demonstrated such patience and care for him and have really helped him grow. We just hush about Dogtopia. Prices are great and fair, love the pickup police’s and the snack menu is an amazing touch! Not to mention free Lacroixs! I don’t know what took us so long to try them but I’m so happy we did. We love Dogtopia DG and so do our two dogs! Everyone makes an effort to get to know each dog. Carrie is the absolute best groomer. We have been with her for over 8 years and can’t speak highly enough of her kindness, care and genuine compassion for the dogs she works with as well as the owners! One of our dogs is much less compliant than the other and she genuinely cares for them just the same. ;) We recently boarded both dogs and received prompt communication when they were having a bit of a tough time that led to a quick resolution. We never had to worry for a minute and could fully enjoy our vacation!

My dog loves coming to Dogtopia! He gets so excited when I tell him he’s going to go play with his friends. The staff is wonderful with him and the spa techs do a great job with his nail trim when needed. I highly recommend Dogtopia for all your fur babies needs! Daycare, boarding and spa! I’ve been bringing my dog Benny to doptopia for socialization, as he has also has high energy. I couldn't be happier with the experience and he absolutely loves it!! He comes home as a tired and happy pup. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about animals. You can tell the staff really cares about the animals. They have different events each month that Benny really enjoys such as all the special meals, events, and photo events. The staff keeps them entertained and I love getting my momentos. I also love the updates as needed. The staff is quick to update me if they are any issues or concerns. It is also nice they have a camera, so I can periodly check in my dog. They offer additional services such as grooming and boarding. We have done the bathing before while he is at daycare, which makes it convenient. Overall, I highly recommend dogtopia to anyone looking for a reliable and caring place to leave their dog. I feel confident knowing that my dog is in such good loving hands! I absolutely love Christina! My dogs absolutely love her. My 1st dog that absolutely hates water but is always wagging when he sees her. My other 90lb dog who hates getting his nails grinded, has recently wrestled three people off of him and tore up the salon a bit and they could not get them done. Christina gets it done and without trauma. (And thank goodness because my glass patio doors were getting pretty scratched up.) Her ability to understand animal psychology, while projecting authority, but being gentle physically are a few reasons why she's able to get every job done without creating trauma and making the experience pleasant for both my dogs. They are both always jumping up and down with joy whenever they reunite with her. She goes above and beyond for her customers which shines through her abilities to work with the dogs! She does an excellent job every time And she does it with honesty and integrity. Her passion for animals and their well-being is unmatched. I always ask her questions beyond grooming because her experience with the dogs reaches far beyond grooming. I trust her and her judgment because she will always state any concerns she may have observed during her times with my animals. The well-being of animals and your dog is her priority and she will sacrifice her own well being on behalf of theirs. She is an expert in her field and a rare diamond I am so lucky to have found If you want what's BEST for your animal, and are looking for someone who also wants what is best for them, Christina is that person.
