This park was always my favorite as a kid and 50 years later it still is - BEAUTIFULLY maintained the wildlife is extraordinary and it's big enough that you can enjoy your personal space to meditate or exercise your reactive rescue dog in peace

Flat, easy walk close to the beautiful Raritan River. Two mile loop around the park with paved surfaces and clean restrooms available. Tennis courts and child playground areas are very popular.

The most walkable park I know. So beautiful in the spring time and perfect setting for outdoor parties in spring/summer and even autumn. Great dog park and very clean. Public bathrooms are decent. Playground is awesome. My favorite park all around.

Located next to the Raritan river, this park is suitable for a variety of activities. It has a paved loop of about 1.25 miles (construction going on at the time of writing this review so the loop was broken at a couple of places). There were soccer and baseball fields, two kids’ playground and a fenced area for your friends with paws. Multiple picnic spots with parking space and trash bins. I saw a few people fishing as well. The river was gentle and there were people jet skiing. Make sure you don’t forget the bug spray. A couple of parts of the paved path were drawn with chalks, hopefully the rainfalls have erased them by now.

This is one of my favorite parks because it is massive and there’s water next to it. This is the type of park where you play hide and seek with your child and you may never find him again. Sometimes I come here with my penstock coffee and just walk around, go bird watching, swing on the monkey bars and study the periodic table. Go Birds
