The best part is the layout of the trails where you can meander and yet they all loop together. The river is more just for looks as it is cloudy and smelly due to stormwater/sewer/runoff. Dogs are allowed. There is parking on the side of the road for about 14 cars.

A lovely walk in nature including a short walk through wildflowers/long grasses as well as a winding trail around a babbling brook in the well-shaded woods. It's not a marked trail, but we found it easy enough to stay on the looped trail. We used bug spray & were glad for it. We saw a doe eating leaves from the trees & she had no fear of us. We had to park on the shoulder of the road, for which there was plenty of room to get off the road & out of the car. We'll go again, earlier so we can do some birdwatching. The best natural & quiet trail we've been on in Oakland County so far.

Gorgeous. This is probably my new favorite trail. Easy to follow trails, hilly enough to be interesting but flat enough to be accessible. The river is beautiful.

Not a very detailed path. Quite short too. But if you’re looking for a vibe to relax at, the scenery is very nice. Just don’t look to get much of a good walk

🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 Dog friendly easy trails in a beautiful setting. Best local collection of native plants 🌱 and grasses. 🌾Three loops through prairie, riverbank and maple 🍁 trees. Limited parking on Evergreen. Popular spot for family photos. 📸
