Different amounts of difficulties for hikers/walkers/bicyclists! Beautiful park. You get to a point where you hear nothing but nature. No traffic! The occasional plane flying overhead. Be careful! Be aware. Some paths are steep and you're literally staring down a cliffside of rocks. Take it slow. Take on everything. Do not steer off the paths. I've made those mistakes. It's an amazing place that you can literally get lost in. Have fun.

This area is also known as the Garin/Dry Creek Pioneer Regional Park. This is a large area encompassing a lot of different terrain and trails. We tried the May Rd entrance. The trails are not well marked but there are maps at the entrance. We took the High Ridge trail which was mostly unshared. There were a number of offshoot we could have taken but we stuck to the main trail. We walked about 1.3 miles before turning back as this wasn't a loop. While there were warnings about snakes, coyotes and mountain lions the only animals we saw were cows. Next time we'll go further up the road and try a different trail. A good place to get your steps in.

It is quiet and peaceful. Mother nature is beautiful out there. You can see a lot of people hiking from adults to children. People can ride their horses and take pictures. There are a lot of trails where you can walk and enjoy mother nature. The only bathrooms are at the parking lot areas. Once you are on the trails, there are no bathrooms. Some trails are shade. Some are not, hydrate before you hike, and don't hike if it is a hot day. Also, my phone didn't have reception for most of the trails, so I carried a wishle jist in case of an emergency. Be careful there are mountain cats.

Beautiful trails in the area. Open all the seasons. Currently many trails are damaged by the storms we had. So be careful when walking. Keep an eye on kids specially. Some sections have mud slides. Mayor’s ranch trail has a closed section, there is a way around, you will find it to your left. No trash cans on trails so please carry your trash with you all the way to parking lot. I would recommend good hiking shoes considering recent weather conditions.

It's a great hiking place and there are many trails from easy to hard hiking levels. The one we went was very steep and good for beginners. Carrying water is better as it's too dry and no shades in many trails. We didn't see any animals other than cows grazing there. Saw few birds 🐦 Can bring pets. Parking was a problem from the gate we entered. Had park on street and not far from the gate.
