So glad to have the Duck Pond trail at Cedar Hill State Park back open! It's been reopened for a few months and is already a family favorite. We had a wonderful time hiking the trail with our grandson, Chance. It’s a fantastic trail for a multi-generational walk or a bike ride. The path is lovely and well-kept. What I love most is how peaceful and quiet it is. You can really connect with nature out here, making it a perfect escape any time of the in the day. The trail also conveniently leads to the park's primitive camping area, making it a great access point. As someone who loves our parks, it's great to see this beautiful trail thriving again.

Beautiful trail. Good mix of sun and shade. 5 star trail and area, but minus 1 star because I've been there twice and have yet to see a single duck Watch out for chiggers though. Those things get 0 stars

The hike was short and easy! The pond is easy to find and there’s choices to go into different areas.
