The serene, picturesque scenery is forever changing and is perfect to while away the hours in all four seasons. There are bbq’s, picnic tables, ample parking and beautiful trails to explore. The only gripe I have are the irresponsible dog walkers who ignore the signs to keep their dogs on leads.

I always knew about the trails and lakes at Durand Eastman Park but all I have to say is wow. I'm big on fishing and I was there last week for the first time in years and it is beautiful. The water is clear and out of the multiple little lakes that are there each one has multiple different areas where the fish like to hide out and relax. I am glad my irondiquoit raised wife showed me this spot. Very relaxing and chill. I'm dreaming of the time I go back...definitely on Monday or Tues 10-13 or 10-14. The beach is also great now that its back in action. I am addicted to this area of irondiqoit now.

Absolutely the best part about living in Rochester! We must acknowledge that we are on the native land of the (Ho-de-no-sau-nee-ga) Haudenosaunee & (Onöndowa’ga:’) Seneca tribes & are so very thankful for the great love & respect they have given this land while in their care & thank them for their grace as we visit.

Took my dog here while traveling and staying in hotel. It was a great place to walk. This was during winter and trails were clear which made walking through snow easier.

Nice highland park in Irondequoit for trekking, running and fishing. Great location and fresh atmosphere for group activities and outdoor parties. The big lake is muddy and bushy with algae. The beach is so clean and kinda private (away from the road). Cant wait till Fall to see the foliage. Would come here every weekend
