Being from out of town I was looking for a place to take my dogs. I found this smaller but well-kept, 2-area, off-leash dog park that is quiet and seems removed from the busy areas. It provides plenty of human seating in benches and picnic table, as well as waste bags and disposal. No water available but a good stop for a bathroom break. My dogs did not enjoy the substrate, which is all pebbles, so it was very difficult for them to navigate, much less run. They did ‘stretch their legs’ and relieve themselves, but didn’t seem to enjoy the sensation of moving through the rocks. It is, however, adjacent to what seemed to be a very popular paved trail and large unfenced grassy areas that we were able to take a good walk on after the off leash time in the park.

Very small for a dog park, there is no road access, and it's all gravel. The only plants are the overgrown weeds by the power lines.

Centrally located, clean, and new, solid fencing. But there's not much here. It's 2 small "parks" with a few picnic tables. All gravel, no grass or shade, and there were no other dogs to play with. Instead, we made a nice loop on the walking pat, and up through the little shops at Peoria Heights. A few convenient parking spaces on the street, and easy access to the main walking trail. Quiet neighborhood, and people using the trail were super friendly. Added lots of photos, because what pops up on Google Maps is the large (abandoned?) industrial property fenced in next door to these small parks.

I have a border collie and she needs to run. There is not enough space for that to happen. Luckily I brought her to the grassy area across the bike trail so that was fine and there was shade there. It's a good park if you're looking for a small place sit down but I would not make the regular park especially if I lived over here.

Poor design with small and large rocks in the whole super tiny area The small rocks got stuck in my doggos paws and caused him pain so we left. Not an enjoyable place for a dog imo
