LOVE LOVE LOVE coming here with my dog, he can run around and adventure in a safe place, where he’s allowed to be free! Added bonus that there are always at least a few other friends to play with. Cannot recommend enough.

Use to visit this park once a week with my grandpup 20+ years ago. She loved the water. Only time she stayed out of it was when we were on our way to pick up grandpa. Took my dogs for a second time. First time I went, I was extremely nervous that they would find a way to run away. I kept them on a leash most of the time. When we went yesterday, they were perfect! We spent about 1/2 hour there, they had so much fun exploring on and off the trails. We will definitely be going back.

Been coming to this dog park for many years. My two Vizslas love it. Dogs are allowed to roam free of the leash here. There are many lakes here where dogs are allowed to jump in and swim. There is also a training pond for the puppies or doggies that aren't the best at swimming just yet. Plenty of people come here to get their fur babies' much-needed exercise but also their break from the public. A few main trails but plenty of little bunny trails to venture down and explore. Plenty of parking. Please remember a permit is required to come here with our pups. 1 per 🐶. Come here if u want to walk your dog and keep to yourself or come here and hang out by the main paths where many dog owners hang out and let your fur babies mingle with other dogs. Doggie poop bags are provided at both entrances. Restrooms are at one entrance only. Some areas can get muddy after rain and slippery after a snowfall. They do have bathrooms in the form of a single portta potta at one of the entrances in the parking lot. No running water or drinking fountains here. plan on bringing your water.

The park is excellent, and we have been visiting it with our dog for the past three years. Unfortunately, as non-residents of DuPage, we are required to pay a $170 membership fee. While we understand this policy, we believe there should be greater consideration for individuals who invest that amount and travel from Chicago, only to arrive and discover that the lake is affected by an algae bloom. Our dog loves the water, so we had to return to Chicago and instead visit Beck Lake Off-Leash in Glenview. Cook County informs park users of such hazards through group emails. Unfortunately, DuPage does not appear to offer the same level of communication or consideration, despite the distance people travel and the high membership fees they pay.
