The only reason this is not a 5 star park - there was no shade over the equipment!! It's in August and the sun is full blast. Black ropes, metal equipment and black swings were all on fire in the sun. Cute little pond with tons of ducks. They're building some more items here, but it was too hot to walk and look around. There's more but all we could get to was the pond and the climbing playground.

Room to roam, nice lake, grass, bkfst on the patio, splash pad, farmer's mkt, and a new library coming soon! Something for everyone.

The adults I encountered were not very social, i did get an outsider kinda vibe. However, my kiddo enjoyed playing. There was lots to do. There are also two batting fields.

We are new in Arizona and currently living in Mesa. I am trying to find parks for my kids to enjoy some time now that the weather is cooling down. We found this park and we loved it, it's clean and has everything a kid and a parent would hope for: a pond, walking/biking trails, playground x 2, basketball hoops and so on. On top of that, it's right next to a little private vegetable farm that has a store and café so you can shop their products. I will be returning soon to this park.

This whole area is awesome. Two big playgrounds and lots of sports fields as well as walking paths and the library. Plan on staying a while and having a great time.
