Eisenhower Dog Park is hands down one of my favorite places to take Piper. We’ve been going there for a while now, and every visit reminds me why we love it so much. One of the best features of this park is the AstroTurf—it keeps things clean and tidy, even after a good play session. No mud, no mess. It’s soft on the paws and easy on the cleanup, which any dog owner can appreciate. But what really makes this place stand out is the community. The early morning crowd is the absolute best. People are kind, attentive, and respectful—not just to each other, but to the dogs as well. Everyone watches their pets, and that really creates a calm, safe, and friendly atmosphere. Unlike many other parks where owners are distracted or get into arguments, here it’s all good vibes. It truly feels like a shared space where everyone wants the best experience for their dog. And now, I can finally say I’ve seen the tubs in action! I’ve attached some pictures of Piper and other pups playing in the water—splashing, cooling off, and just having the time of their lives. It’s such a thoughtful touch for the summer, and the dogs absolutely love it. Watching them have fun in the water adds another level of joy to the visit. I also have some older winter videos of Piper here, and no matter the season, this place holds wonderful memories for us. Eisenhower Dog Park is clean, well-maintained, and full of great people—and that’s what keeps us coming back again and again.

Spacious. Usually go around 3. So nice amount of other dogs. Too many owners sit on their butts and dont pay attention when their dog does business. Today 2 women sat on the bench and either ignored their dogs or didnt care enough to watch out. But in general great place to bring your dod

The only reason I'm giving this place a 4 star and not a 5 is because dog owners really need to take just a little extra responsibility for their dog. I love this place but the one time my husband went he got into it with another owner because their dog would not leave my dog alone (who is extremely social and gets along with everyone) and when that other dog was being too pushy with mine to the point where she was hiding behind my husband for protection the other dog owner did nothing. Other than that great park and for the most part everyone is super friendly!

Come here with my dog every couple of days, he's not very sociable but he tolerates other dogs in the right environment, so the big open yard is a big plus for when he needs to find a corner to be alone in. He gets excited and goes crazy in the car as soon as he realizes we're heading to this park. So far the dogs he has encountered have been friendly and respectful, and he's even made a few friends. I'm sure it depends on the day but we have yet to encounter any real problems.

Very large open area for the big dogs. I took my small dog here a few times, tho she doesn't love dog parks, they have a nice small area for them as well. Has trash bins all around for easy poopy clean up, free bags. Usually have a hose for water. Everyone is nice and friendly and welcoming.
