Great park. Lot of locals hangout outside the dog park allday, everyday. three dog areas: small dog, large dog, training area(one dog& owner at a time please).

I give it 5 stars because it is a childhood park I use to go too, also a park I enjoy to come to bring my kids to play at. I never knew about the baseball and football field, which I found to be very convenient for my sons flag football team to play at. However I do wish they can make the bathroom's cleaner and nicer, make new bleachers that is easy to access, instead of climbing one by one, and maybe remodel the playgrounds. This park gets a lot of love with parties, and with people enjoying basketball, tennis, summer movie theatre, walking your dogs and its usually a friendly environment of people in the community.

"Park on park" is a better name. Calling it "El Cajon park", when it is such a mediocre park, with no playground, a field that's mostly fenced off, and bathrooms that are almost always locked, speaks to the mediocrity of El Cajon as a whole, as in " go to El Cajon... meh. That's neither fun, nor interesting in anyway". Oh, and the ugly presence of El Cajon police going up, and down the street, reminding us how oppressed we are by that street gang of thugs, doesn't improve the atmosphere any. Gross, militant, thugs they are.

This park is small. It has a baseball field. Right now, no restrooms are available for public use. The park is clean and tidy.

Small park area is well maintained and feels pretty safe. Large field areas for baseball and other sports, also well maintained.
