Had a great time doing one of the trails here. Certain areas are difficult to walk through so I would say this is a moderate trail. There is a chain-linked fence that seems to cut the trail so make sure you use the All Trails App to make sure you can make your way back. Keep your trail clean and if needed pick up after others.

Fantastic space for trail running, hiking, and family photos. They’ve done a lot with the grass field next door and done well to keep the natural space natural. I believe this is the location for trailer camping for the three winds country music festival. There is one bathroom on site along with public parking that opens and closes automatically from dawn to dusk. Hikes include a large loop bass the natural grasses and down a hill through a small water run off and back again. Owl boxes and other small animal signs are present.

Update SPRING 2023 BEWARE OF POISON IVY!! It is a big beautiful plant, with shiny green leaves. You do not want to have a beautiful bouquet of leaves from your child! ... The flooding of 1-2023 has changed the landscape, yet it's still a great place to walk, ride your bike or relax by our new stream. Sand and river rock have replaced the chaparral in the old wash. The paths are now very rocky and less smooth, a stroller would be a real challenge. Ruts and rocks have changed the hike. The tundra will take a couple of years to establish roots, but it's being restored after the fire of 2020. There is a clean toilet, sink and a water fountain for use,at the parking lot. Picnic tables but no shade. Be safe, rattlesnakes, coyotes- often and bears- rarely can be in the area. Make noise and be careful with your dogs. The gate opens at sunrise and closes at sunset, so get your car out before then. Thank you city of Yucaipa for a nice park in the wilderness, without any house's around. It's a bit of old Yucaipa, not a glamour park. Resident since 1964

Great nature walk! Beautiful scenery. Hardly any shade, so be prepared. Not suitable for a double Graco stroller, though; although, I got a great upper arm workout because of it 😂! Definitely coming back! The loop I took was 2 miles.

Nice park. Wide open dirt road trails that wind through a high meadow. Lots of birds of prey in the area and the San Bernardino range leaves a nice snow capped backdrop. Clean public restrooms at the entrance and lots of options for a picnic or to just sit back and enjoy some apple donuts and hot cider from snowline orchard nearby.
