We love the library-park combo! The playground is tall so it can be a little scary for my almost two year old as far as her falling, but still fun. Nice pockets of shade on hot days. There is sand to play in too.

El Retiro is a great neighborhood park with something for everyone. The well-kept basketball courts are a perfect spot to play a quick game or shoot around. It’s also dog-friendly, with lots of space to walk your pup. While the park is sometimes monitored, it’s also a “secret dog park,” many locals let their dogs run around and play together. It has a relaxed, community feel, making it a favorite spot for people and pets. Overall, El Retiro is a clean, family-friendly place to relax, play, or bring your dog for a stroll. A hidden gem in the neighborhood.

Huge park with few tennis courts, picnic area, spaceous greens for kids to run around and a nice playground with rubberized ground.

This park has many trees for shade to sit under. The grass area to play freebie or for your fur babies to take a walk, of course with their leash attached to their collar. Because you'll want to be a responsible owner. The play equipment was not open on the that I was there. Which was June.22.2020 It has benches for lunch with the family or friends. And also has small barbecue pits. There is a tennis court. And a library. They had pre-made craft bags for kids to take home. You might want to call in advance to check if Craft bags are still available.. Their flyer has information to sign up for story reading for kids. You can receive the flyer online with your own computer.

i was very surprised to see so many ppl at this park, there’s a small playground, picnic table area, and shabby pickleball courts but that’s it. there’s not a walk path that loops around. there’s a field but it’s also small. and there’s a library next door. this park is tucked away in a neighborhood and some of the houses lead directly into it so maybe that’s why it’s so beloved.
