I was visiting from out of town and found this park on Google and I’m definitely not mad that I did. This part is wonderful very clean very safe. At least I felt safe lol I would definitely recommend this part to anybody that has kids or anybody that likes to walk or just like the scenic view it actually has some history about the part that you can read about whether you want to read about the past or not but i definitely would say go check out the park

1. Rose Garden - Features over 15,000 rose bushes and hundreds of varieties - Peak bloom in June — stunning for photos and peaceful walks 2. Gardens & Green Spaces - Additional formal gardens, perennial beds, and wide open lawns - Perfect for picnics, yoga, or just enjoying nature 3. Walking Trails - Paved and gravel paths for walking, jogging, and relaxing strolls - Benches and shaded areas throughout 4. Community Events - Hosts concerts, festivals, and gardening programs - On-site café adds a charming touch

This is a great little park to start a walk, run, or bike from. I head south on the Little Sugar Creek Greenway, all the way to the South Carolina State line. Once I'm finished, there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

One of the great Parks along side the Little Sugar Creek Greenway. The park features a small splash pad and bench swings. Parking is available on the other side of the park as well.

Excellent!!! I recommend 100 % it. Elizabeth began to develop rapidly after 1902, when a trolley line was completed, and was annexed in 1907. Home of Independence Park, the first public park in the city, Elizabeth became one of the most fashionable residential areas in Charlotte in its early days. In 2006 Elizabeth had a population of 3,908.
