Had a great day with my dogs at the dog park here today. Only lost the balls twice due to grass being so high and I only stepped in poop once. (Doesn't mean it was the only pile) The hair from someone brushing their dog was nice when the balls rolled through it, but there is a water fountain to wash it off.(that's a plus) Overall it was a good time had by none. But the price is well worth it. For the few of us that actually pay.

Nice park to visit in Chesapeake, VA, especially if you want a change in scenery. Since it's under a bridge, it doesn't look like your stereotypical park in the woods. There's a dog park, playground, Snack Shack, pier, shelters, restrooms, and plenty of room. I would stay away from the mini burgers, but get yourself a slushee or fountain drink because you get to keep the souvenir cup!!

This is a great park....another hidden gem. They have a boat ramp, playground, workout area, dog park, covered picnic tables, bathrooms, and plenty of open grassy areas. There's a lot of parking and you can walk the Jordon Bridge. Go check it out!

We stopped in to check it out. They say free fishing without license. Just follow local fishing laws. Lots of area to run and play. Benches galore and a doggy park. Playground for the kids and seems they have a concession stand next to the restrooms.
