We take our dog here all the time. It's a nice park in a nice neighborhood and you can walk around in the neighborhood too. Currently there are so many different kind of mushrooms growing in the wild which I find quite fascinating. They have a children's area and a separate dog park too.
Was quiet, peaceful. Well designed with a beautiful gazebo and fountain, play areas spread out, a dog park, an area for water play, an indoor area for game play and help with studies. It was fun to watch the squirrels while we had our picnic.
Great little dog park with plenty of shade and a small wooded area. Buster loved it!
I took my dog and 9 year old son today. Very small playground. Has a set of swings and plastic jungle gym with slides. And an area that looks like different climbing bars but I'm not sure. 1 picnic bench. No bathrooms. There is a building that says "lost and found" but it was locked. This park is good for some quiet time or a quiet stroll with your dog. Not much else to do. This is the reas9n for the 2 stars. If I were going to read a book I'd give it 5 stars.
This is a nice little city park but if you’re looking for somewhere to take your dog for exercise, don’t bother. The dog area is completely fenced in which is nice but it’s a very small area and on the worst piece of this plot on the side where it’s basically just a partially wooded hill. It wouldn’t be as bad if it was grassier but since the area is so small and so many people take their dogs there that no grass can really grow anywhere in the dog park, so when it rains or it’s wet outside it’s all mud. There’s a part at the bottom of the hill too that takes forever to dry up. On the plus side, a lot of people do bring their pups here so it’s a great place to go if you are solely looking to socialize your dog or even meet new dog parents to befriend. It is in a great location too in the Rosewood neighborhood and is one of the only parks you can take your dog for free which makes it easily accessible and pretty close to most areas in Columbia.
