Very nostalgic. Like the T-shirts used to say... "Englewood, best city by a Dam Site!" Sad to see the main park overgrown with weeds except for the frisbee golf trails. Once you're around the bend though, 'Patty Shelter' was nice and clean and the area was totally clear. Ran into several nice people enjoying the beautiful day.

Myself and my family go hiking, fishing and have our cookouts here. They have these amazing game boxes at the picnic shelters. It kept everyone entertained throughout the afternoon.

Good size park, there are picnic tables, shelters, a disc golf course, etc. The lake is a great spot for bird watching. Someone told me there was waterfalls there, but we didn't see any.

The Englewood Metro Park is a huge nature area full with trails, picnic spots, etc. It's great for people who are wanting to walk or bike for exercise, and there are many areas to park your car. The park has many paved trails and some that are dirt. There are also handicap accessible bathrooms, though their cleanliness will vary. Pets are also welcome! I would highly recommend this metro park to anyone who enjoys a bit of nature!
