Review more about the city of Rolling Hills Estates allowing a very unprofessional & abusive to dogs training group CAROLYN PETERS in the Lomita Dog Obedience Dog Club have Parkour dog classes at this park. Little shade for these extreme hot days. Class is at 12noon! RHE is so poverty stricken they cannot pave their park roads nor pick up after their horses? In the far NW part of the dog training area NO WATER FOUNTAINS. I am speaking with RHE parks supervidor go get full refund from them but this is 3rd time asking… Photos display the NO TREES for shade for dogs. No water for dogs. Who would allow this?!

As a current and past Participant in the Lomita dog club training classes, I can’t speak highly enough about Carolyn Peters methods for training! I am a resident of the city of rolling Hills Estates and have gone to this park for years for my dog training. It is unfortunate that people have used this platform to harass and minimize the skills that Carolyn brings to the City. Carolyn has helped me train my reactive dog and I can’t thank her enough for her knowledge and patience while helping me to figure out the best methods for training her. I started using Lomita dog club training classes back in the early 90s and continue to be impressed by their knowledge and skill

As a resident of RHE, I have attended several dog classes at Ernie Howlett through Lomita Obedience. Carolyn Peters has been integral to all, and has run the last two. She is excellent — she encourages positive reinforcement. She is gentle both with all of the dogs and with owners of all abilities. While the park can get hot, there are always water breaks and Carolyn frequently directs us to shaded areas of the park. Her dog training program is an asset to the community.

This park hosts summer concerts. Large baseball field, hiking trails, tennis, stables, and horses. Thank you for everything you do for our community. Blessings ❤️

This park is a hidden gem. It's quiet and ideal for socially distanced outdoor activities. There's many sport courts: tennis, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball. There's also a playground, horse arenas, picnic areas, clean restrooms, little free community library, and much more. This peaceful park gives access to charming hiking and horse riding trails. The lawns are very well kept.
