Such a beautiful park full of gorgeous mature trees. Perfect size walking sidewalk around the park, picnic benches, grills, garbage cans. A nice basketball court which is also good for roller skating. We love to catch the sunset here.

Talk about your ultimate double decker playground! There were so many bridges leading to different slides on the larger playground and it was so fun to explore them with my son. Usually he gets a little bored of the park when there aren’t any swings but he kept begging to stay here longer. He made a few very nice friends who were willing to share toys and play with him and a few laps on the sidewalk around the park was perfect for our daily stroller run! I also loved the mature trees which cast a lot of shade on the grass. I do wish it was in a better neighborhood and that the play equipment was dusted off and cleaned more often. It wasn’t gross. Just very cobwebby. I also wish there was a better bathroom situation. 📍 Fireside Drive & Parkside Street, Oceanside, CA 92057 🚙Free parking in lot/on street 💰This park is free 🎠There are 2 play structures both on mulch ground surface. No swings. 🚽One port-a-potty only 🧺Multiple picnic tables scattered around the park 🍔Charcoal grills 🪑Park benches at playground 🖼Lawn 🌳Shady trees 🛣Good distance away from busy roads 🥾Dirt trails on the other side of the gate which lead to the San Luis Rey River Trail but I’m not sure if there is east access to it (sorry, we didn’t walk over there to check it out) 🚲Paved path perfect for small bikes, scooters, roller blades, or stroller jog (0.25 mile loop around the perimeter of the park) 🏀Basketball court 🏐Sand volleyball court

Huge park! The kids loved it. Only two downsides, no bathroom and several dogs off leash which made me nervous as a I was by myself with two toddlers. No swings here either so if you have a little that loves to swing this is not the park for you.

Live down the street from here and today was the first time I went by. Took my mountain bike out for a spin and ended up here. Nice basketball full size court and plenty of trees. Will be stopping by here more often for sure

This is a fun little park. Usually had less attendance during the week than a lot of other parks. No bathroom. There is a basketball field, plenty of grass, doggie bags and trash cans, a big park for older kids and a little one for younger kids and a volleyball field. Some tables, plenty of shade.
