It’s a small hidden corner I didn’t know about. I brought my dog here on a Thursday around 1pm. We were the only people there and a homeless man sleeping. The park seemed clean overall, my pup found a half eaten tennis ball, but that was it. It was a nice little trip for him. I did not see a door to close the entrance, I’m guessing that’s why dogs are not allowed off leash. There’s a busy street right outside that door.

This is typically a nice, quiet place to walk your dog. Sometimes there's homeless there. But they seem to keep to themselves when I've seen them and I just hold onto the leash a bit tighter, so my dig doesn't go bother them. But they must get kicked out pretty regularly, because sometimes they are there, other times I have the park to myself.

It was my first time there and my dog Bucky really enjoyed it lots of grass, lots of trees, lots of room to run around in, and lots of shade a very nice place with peaceful surroundings to spend a lazy afternoon with your best friend!!!!!

I recommend going somewhere else, this place is no longer a dog park but basically a homeless encampment. Which by itself isn't bad they leave you alone, but it's that there is trash EVERYWHERE. Broken glass, unhygienic thrown clothing, human waste. I am never bringing my dog back here for fear that they might get hurt or sick. It's a shame because I used to come here a couple years ago and loved it. It was a nice quiet clean walking dog park that your dog can have sniff walks on. Too bad it's not like that anymore.

The park Needs help!! I understand the city mows the grass often, but it needs more attention than that alone! Homeless Always leave their mess behind! The walkway needs to be redone or at least repaired! it’s a park with lots of potential! I will say that it’s Definitely Safe!
