For a Dog Friendly Beach Acess Site to be so beautiful and clean, there must be a strong community of Dog lovers here!! This beach access is absolutely stunning! The white sand and easy parking make these sunrise drives the best way to start our day every day! Sunrise at the Dog park is life at its finest.

The idea and designation for a beach for dogs is a great idea but the execution in this case is very poor. The actual area appeared to only be around 100 yards width. This makes it very crowded and not near enough parking either. Taking into account that we visited on Wednesday March 4th at around 2:30 pm, it shouldn’t have been busy and crowded but it was. At the time we arrived, there were only 2 parking spots available. There are several disappointing issues with this “Dog Beach”: there are no pavilions, no nice bathrooms (Only port a potties), and there are no outside showers to rinse off the sand. This was all very disappointing and not worth the drive if you are in Pensacola or Navarre area. To the officials that over see this park “Do better”, the public that loves their pets deserve better and the dogs that we consider a family member certainly deserves more.

Took our Moxie to the beach for the first time. She was a little apprehensive at first with the waves. The beach was clean and not crowded. However, some people didn't have their pets leashed, which caused some anxiety for Moxie and myself.

Our girl dog loves to go here to see the beach and visit others of her kind. The place is clean. Nice board walk to get from parking area to the sandy area. There is a poop bag dispenser at the beginning of the boardwalk entrance. Adequate parking....prob 30 spaces. A couple of Porta potties. Plenty of sandy beach area to run, walk or relax with your dogfriend. Take your own chair and swim stuff to enjoy the water. I've been several time throughout the years, always nice! Never had any issues. I recommend!
