Forest Park Southeast Members Only Dog Park

Chili and I enjoyed playing in this park although we were the only ones there and did not realize it was members only until I went online to leave review; so that made us undocumented and that’s OK, right?

I love this dog park. It is located inside Chouteau park and is a decent size. I wish they trimmed the trees a little better (especially the tree right by the gate) because the branches can catch you and your dog in the face.

Forest Avenue Dog Park is where dogs come to strut their stuff and maybe teach humans a trick or two. Located conveniently next to a children's playground, it's where Fido can make canine friends while your kids make, well, human ones. Fancy a game of fetch or basketball? Your pick, because this park's got both! And if you're planning a visit to the Barnes Jewish Hospital, you might just be in for the shortest commute of your life. **What I Like:** - Adjacent to a Children's Playground: perfect for multitasking parents. - Basketball Court: for the days you fancy being Michael "Bark" Jordan. - Close to Barnes Jewish Hospital: fluffy breaks before or after appointments. - The Mysterious Parking Karma: always a spot waiting just for you. **What You Might Not Like:** - Dust City: welcome to your dog's new Eau de Dust look. - BYODB (Bring Your Own Dog Bags): the park's unique green initiative. - One Size Fits All Playground: Chihuahua meets Great Dane BFF. - Twilight Bark: for that canine 'Blair Witch' ambiance. All in all, Forest Avenue Dog Park is a decent park that gets the job done. Just remember your dog bags, and maybe a flashlight!

I've been searching for a dog park where I can take off my dogs leash without her, crawling thru fence. Thanks from both of us, and it's close to home 🌸

I'm very disappointed. Hardly anybody uses the park, and yet it is "open" to the public. And not well manicured, nor maintained? All in all, I love the park. Clean up my dog's mess and often others also. Last night, there was only one other pile to pick up.
