Forster Ranch Community Park is one of our most-used parks in San Clemente, and as a mom of four kids spanning multiple ages, that says a lot. It’s a park that genuinely works for families who need space, flexibility, and a calmer overall experience. The playground is well maintained and thoughtfully laid out. It feels appropriate for younger kids while still being engaging enough for older ones, which is not always easy to find. There’s enough room for kids to spread out and play without feeling crowded, and the equipment is sturdy and in good condition. The open grassy fields are a huge highlight. There is plenty of room for soccer, baseball catch, running, or just letting kids move freely without constantly worrying about bumping into others. It’s a great park for practices, spontaneous games, or burning energy after school. The walking paths around the park are ideal for stroller walks, scooters, bikes, or parents who want to get some steps in while keeping an eye on their kids. The paths are wide, easy to navigate, and feel safe and relaxed. There are multiple picnic tables and shaded areas, which makes it easy to bring snacks or lunch, meet friends, or host a casual birthday party or team gathering. It’s a park where you can comfortably stay for a while without feeling rushed or overstimulated. Parking is generally easy and convenient, which is a big plus when you’re managing kids and gear. Overall, Forster Ranch Community Park is clean, spacious, and family-friendly, and it’s a spot we consistently return to because it works well for real life with kids of different ages.

Lots of parking nearby and restrooms👍🏼Great gazebo and playground area. As far as the fields, they need some landscape people out here to cut their grass😩Lots of soccer games going on and not the best grass area to host a soccer tournament. Alot of space for an event.

Beautiful park! Has plenty of different play areas for different interests! Features a balancing beam that wobbles as you walk over it , a swing for two. Super clean park as well! Up above is a very well kept soccer field! My boys enjoyed it!

It is open and green. Lots of picnic tables, trees, parking and trash receptacles. The 'pirate's park is great for little kids and the restrooms are relatively clean for a public facility. The down side is the park ranger sits in the parking lot in the morning to ensure dogs are leased by their owners, even at 6am, so be warned..... otherwise, a great place.
