Large State Park with Lake and Beach. Campsites are large and some are a bit secluded. Very clean. We kayaked, let kids fish. Swam and played at the beach and camped. There were fun activities at the camp for kids and family.

Great quiet campground with lots of opportunities for hiking, fishing and canoeing from the campground to Morrow. Right in the middle of southern Michigan, it is convenient to drive to without the crowds up north. The biggest secret in the Lower Peninsula.

I love this little fishing dock, you never know what you may catch! Other than the goose poo you have to navigate through, the picnic area offers more than you would expect! There are a couple of "outdoor" bathroom stalls and hiking trails are marked and easy to find! It is a rrally great spot to hang out and fish with family!

Large secluded private sites. All sites have mature trees and are divided by trees. Very clean quiet park. Large clean easily accessible handicap/family restroom.

Large quiet campground with relatively private sites. They do offer mini cabins and an equestrian camping area. There are several no-wake lakes, Eagle Lake for swimming, as well as the Kalamazoo River. It has an interesting history as a former military installation. Metal detecting is not allowed due to possible old munitions throughout the park. Lots of hiking, biking and equestrian trails. The DNR hosts explorer programs for both adults & children including a history of the park. Labor day weekend the camp hosts had free coffee and hot cocoa and $1 doughnuts. The park is close to both Kalamazoo & Battle Creek. Wildlife is in abundance, from families of chipmunks & raccoons, the rare in Michigan prairie vole & the cries of coyote.
