One of our favorite Waukesha County Parks. Beautiful beach, well maintained swimming area, kayaks for rent. Tap Yard open regularly. Nice bathroom facilities and air conditioning inside if you need a break from the heat. Concessions are reasonably priced. Saw Bingo there on a Sunday which would be fun in the future. Requires daily/annual admission. $7/$35 per vehicle.

Nice park for walking, especially pretty in the fall time. There is a little lake and beach area. Along with areas for kids to play.

This is such a lovely place to go for a walk. The trail is paved so very suited for all ages, walker assistance and wheelchairs. There is also a designated area for dog swimming. The lake and beach area are always frequented by families, which I love. I went with my dog yesterday while my other dog was in surgery. I needed nature's healing wisdom. It certainly didn't disappoint. Also, I just learned yesterday they have a "Tap Room" Wed thru Sundays in the summer. Enjoy your walk 🌱🌳🌿

This park was nice. I stopped to walk my dog as I was passing through. The space is dog friendly and has a designated dog swimming area, as well as a separate beach for humans. There is a 1.15 mile path that goes around the lake with little lookouts along the way. Though it’s not open at this time of year, there was a concession stand. There also seemed to be shelters to rent. Seems like a great place for kids and families and people with dogs. You will need a state park sticker to enter the park.

Wonderful, easy paved walk around the small lake. About 1 mile. Clean beach for swimming. Currently no life guard on duty. Nice, new playground. Small area for dog swimming. Plenty of picnic tables and ample parking.
