We are so very impressed with all the departments of the Fox Valley Park District. The Police department, the maintenance department (incl. Kevin), the call center (incl Sylvia) It's a lot of land they have to maintain but they're great. We are truly appreciative of their work. Thank you from a 20+ year resident!
I’ve been talking our 9 month old puppy to Gregory park to run and play. I’m not sure which one of us is having the best time. What an awesome facility to visit. Well done and thank you. PS - After many months of twice a day visits it seems to me that my dog has me almost fully trained.
Went to take a short cut in Aurora prairie and the entire area is covered in garbage tools clothes shoes objects literally all over the entrance and deep inside the park keep it maintained people wanna enjoy nature not see the makeshift homeless shelter that took the prairies place
My concern is that people are going into the garden where other people pay to have a garden. Today(7/12/23)@ around 11am 3 Spanish ladies told 2 Africa American ladies that they had a garden, but they don't. One lady told the others that they can go in there anytime and gets vegetables. Maria Wilkinson director and Eric told me mind my own business but that's stealing. The 2 Africa American ladies asked them if they had a garden and they told them no. So they came out mad. Director did come out and told them that they can't go in there. Than Eric came out and the 1 lady was quite because she knew she was in the wrong. They try to tell her a guy told them they could go in there and pick what they wanted. But no. Guess I am the only one who thinks that stealing.
It is ridiculous that the Fox River Trail becomes unusable as soon as it leaves the care of Oswego Park District and enters the care of Fox Valley in the winter. Oswego will plow their portion of the trail as early as 6am every time after it snows, while Fox Valley does not touch it all winter. Even worse is that the trail runs right next to the building, so they can get a reminder everyday in the winter that they have not done their jobs.
When Google exported structured hours, they’re surfaced here instead of being buried in the raw payload.
