Great park. Dog friendly, tennis, basketball, picnicking, venue for private parties, kids playground, 2 sports fields, walking trails. Lots of benches for people and dog watching. Plenty of parking at 805 Washington Street. Love this place

Beautifully landscaped park just a stone's throw from the Village District. It feels so serene and peaceful here, I love it. The flowers, plantings, and paths are wonderful. Perfect for plant lovers and bird watchers. Plenty of benches throughout!

This park is absolutely gorgeous during the fall! Went to an Anime Market Fair and there's plenty of room for a dozen or more vendors. Beautiful area if downtown Raleigh 🍁🍂🍁🧡

Gorgeous park for walking the dog or attending festivals (the monthly Geek & Grub events are great). The amphitheater is nice. My only complaint is that there aren't great restroom options. The portapotties are often gross. If the building is open, the bathrooms there are fine. The playground area is basically just a few swings, so not the best park for kids.

Beautiful! The landscaping is gorgeous. I was able to witness a beautiful wedding take place from a trail ahead....it's hot right now, the fall should be nice! A must visit if you fancy these things. No cost, so please keep it clean, plenty of covered trash bins.
