My favorite park thus far in regards to trails. Before the kids playground area (which is unique and fun all on its own) there is a small parking area with some wonderful trails. It's usually quiet and has lots of different paths you can take. They're all very different looking from one another (one has a lake, a large field, dense forest, and lots of steep hills). It feels like you're discovering new paths and mini ecosystems everytime you go. It's also excellent for dog walking.

What a hidden gem! The paths are well maintained and really rather accessible. I could see a motorized scooter or chair making it through the larger areas of the trail. Even if you're not an experienced trail walker, this is doable! If you're into photography, there's some wonderful opportunities. There's some gorgeous flowers and hilltops! I'm very sensitive to sunlight and while some of the trail offers shade, you may want to consider a sunhat and definitely use sunscreen. There's plenty of parking, including handicap parking. If you're into picnics, this place is great! Close by there are feilds where I've seen people playing baseball, football and other sports. There's even a small playground further down from the trail area. One of the best things about the Greenway portion of the entire park area is that no buildings are allowed to be placed in that area. Just pure trails. Nothing but green! Reminder: pick up your dogs poo! Also, should you produce trash whilst on the trail (water bottle, chips, etc.) Please bring it back to the parking lot where you'll find both trash and recycling cans. I've seen people not take the time to clean up after themselves and their pets on each and every trail I've been to in the states and it's sad. No one likes a litterbug.

It's a small, decent playground. There are no swings and not tons of shade. 1 slide and a few things to climb on, could use some more stuff. Field and baseball field, and a trail to walk too.

Love the forest theme! This is one of the most creatively designed and fun playgrounds we have found in town. My 2 year old loves the balance beam, and I love that she can access the tall slides via the ladders.

Great variety of natural features for this part of the County: great oaks in the woods, unique ponds, rolling landscape, grass/dirt/gravel/paved paths. Great diversity of birds/butterflies and other bugs/plants/fungi/mollusks/animals, including a large turtle and pair of white squirrels.
