What a cool find. I absolutely loved walking through the family of trees at the back of the property by the road. They are so beautiful & I could feel their fabulous energy. I logged 1.5 miles by walking the perimeter & snaking through just a bit. Also, I really enjoyed my calm weekday watching the planes & helicopters, eating lunch, & reading a book in the peace. One thing I will advise, definitely do not wash your vehicle right before coming here like I did. My vehicle was covered in dust. Last thing, the animal shelter is nearby so you will hear barking but I will take that over annoying people anyday. Those happy mature pups are simply calling you to come visit & say hi. You just might find fur baby love when you come to Freedom Park!

Freedom Dog Park Review: Camarillo’s newest dog park is a cool drink on a hot summer day. Shaded with lots of green grass the two English creme retrievers I ran into with their owners were feeling no pain. The park is totally fenced with double gates-kinda of dog Alcatraz- no one can get away! Amenities include benches, picnic tables, dog water fountains and pet waste bags. Best of all, it’s new and off the beaten path so if you need to take your dog to a less frequented place, this is it! Good job, Camarillo, for considering your canine population’s needs!

Went for baseball tournaments.Bkeacgers for family are awful. Bring your own chair! Parking somewhat difficult if it's a busy weekend. Bathrooms not so great but useable.
