Friendship Dog Park

No designated area for only small dogs, and people are very inconsiderate and have multiple big dogs in all the areas. If your “small” dog does not do well with big dogs this is not the place. People are quick to be like “it’s ok they are friendly”but I will not take my chances just because people are inconsiderate.

I took my dog to the dog park at Friendship Park for the first time. We were the only ones there when we arrived. I was surprised to see three separate dog park areas and I believe they all offered water, poop bags and trash cans. It was a decent area for the dogs, but I'm not a fan of where the dog area is situated in the park nor the walk from the parking lot to the dog area; even from the handicapped parking spot. Overall, it was a decent park but got super crowded and really emphasized that the location of the dog park areas should have been reconsidered.

Always a busy park especially the west side of it . Dogs always around but I’ve noticed not to many go inside the dog park . Two parks for kids to play at , one on the east side and one on the west side . Both sides have restrooms . I don’t remember seeing any armadas or picnic tables on the west side but there is some on the East side.

I take my dogs to the dog park there. There are three different gated dog areas so if you need to separate your dogs from others it's very possible. I had stopped taking them to this dog park because there were no doggie clean up bags but I see that they put one in each area. They still need to have more around the park however.

The dog park used to be great, but the lack of maintenance has turned the grass into dirt and anytime they water the soccer fields it floods the dog park turning it into mud with a big mud hole next to the picnic table and next to the water fountain meaning I have to give a muddy dog a ride home.
