Such a pretty park we are fishing for bass. The ducks walk around the pond. Very clean and not many people. Great place to relax and fish. We haven't caught a bass yet but we can careless. Great place to come to I gotta give it five stars. O yeah a great place to walk also.

This park is such a treasure! Take a picnic and enjoy! Plenty of shade, take a kite and some fishing stuff! It's one of our favorite places! (No bathrooms) there is a beautiful shaded play area for the kiddos as well. Actually adults can enjoy that with their children too 😊 also a trail that kids can ride their bikes on. Enjoy!!

Very nice park + trail + Pond. Lots of people fishing and having fun. Dogs on leashes having a great time. Very quiet and shaded walking/ sitting areas. Wondering doc's to fish off of! 10/10 park!

On 06/26/2024 at Gabbard Park in College Station, I watched a man running back & forth with his unleashed large dog. I asked him to put his dog on a leash & he ignored me. Leash law signs posted everywhere. Does not feel safe to walk here with my 4 lb dog. It was only after the city workers showed up to mow that he tied the dog to a tree. We had driven over & while circling around to return to the car? His dog was very agitated seeing us. He also did not care about picking up after his dog even though poop bags are provided. This is not safe for anyone humans or pets judging by the way the dog reacted towards us. Hope the dog does not chase after the ducks either since the owner had zero control over the creature.

It's a very nice place to take the family. They have a playground and a community fishing pond. It was clean, and we had a lot of fun.
