Wonderful well maintained park. This is an immaculate small park. Very clean. It has a walking path, sports field that is open to everyone, two children's areas with restrooms nearby and a basketball court. The park looks large but once I walked on the walking path I realized it's a smaller park. There is only one area with picnic tables. I think the best feature of this park are the children's play areas. Note if you go to this park in the evening, you will be in total darkness. I went at 6:00 pm in December and couldn't see anything except lights from people carrying flashlights. I don't recommend going in the evening.

Working bathrooms that are usually fairly clean. A nice little respite from the urban sprawl, as being tucked in a little valley and surrounded by hills gives a secluded feeling. Decent playgrounds, particularly on the Orange Ave side, basketball courts and baseball fields are available. Tennis courts available at the top of the hill. The old observatory is a unique feature.

Interesting park in a quiet part of town. Not sure how busy this park gets on the weekend, but mid week it was really peaceful.

It’s a great place. Definitely needs a clean up. A thorough once every 3 month cleanup. Clear out all the spider webs, pull the weeds. Wish there were more trees and the bathroom wasn’t up hill. Was too tired to go to the bathroom after walking to it. But otherwise a great little park with no people experiencing homelessness.
