We just came back today for the 3rd time and are having so much fun on the beach in the soft sand and on the playground. Here’s a review for other moms: the sand is super soft and clean, which is perfect for the kids to play in and doesn’t hurt their little feet. There is really unique play equipment on the beach in the sand which has been a lot of fun, including a big wooden water table. Lots of families are having picnics in the sand, or under the cabanas. The swings are so nice and allow for adults to swing alongside their babies or toddlers which is great. I love the play set, it’s a giant boat and there is another one for the babies and toddlers. The playground has really soft padding which I appreciate as a mom because I’m sitting on it half the time with my baby. The water isn’t so clean but it’s Geist so that’s to be expected. I honestly love it here, and I have lived in Geist a long time and have wanted something like this ever since we first visited. I can’t wait for the summer to bring the kids and play. Good job Fishers, we appreciate you making this for us!
We recently visited the new beach at Geist Lake in Fishers, and it was such a cool and fun spot! It’s a beautiful artificial beach very clean, well-maintained, and inviting. There are lifeguards at the water entrance, and when I asked about the place and the water safety, I got plenty of helpful information. The water is pleasant, well-treated, and perfect for swimming. There are plenty of seating areas, a nice trail nearby, barbecue spots, and even a great playground. Such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the day. Highly recommended!
We stumbled upon this place and made a great day out of it. We are able to go past the kayaks and find a cool little spot to fish. My son played on the pirate ship playground for over an hour and the beach was a big hit for running with his new friends. Our pup was made welcome, and the restrooms were relatively clean.
Loved the beach, and my granddaughter got to make her first sand castle. We did not swim, off-season. The playground was awesome!
The park is beautiful. The playground is fun and my kids enjoyed it. The beach will be nice if they keep the water clean and safe. Edit 5/16/23 The park has changed their price structure since my review... there is a $50 parking fee for anyone not a fishers resident. There is no admission fee anymore, just the parking fee. I SUGGEST GETTING DROPPED OFF... Uber, friend, parent, neighbor... or park off site and walk in for free. Original review... The cost to get in the gate is ridiculous though. The neighborhoods bordering the park can't utilize the park without paying to get in. It's a city park. But only free if you live in the city of Fishers. The two other cities within a mile don't qualify and those guests better get ready to fork over $$$
