Awesome as usual!. Now they have goats doing the landscaping!!!
This spaceous open area is sirene until the frieght trains roll by. It is bordered by a split rail fence which lends a frontier vibe. I counted 10 dead trees. Some of them were just seedlings; planted and left to die. Poor trees. At least they could cut them down. All these dead trees could be a biomarker. Located next to the railroad; this land could have been used to dump toxic waste way back when before there was an EPA. Chicago has a history of secreting its deadly industrial biproducts into outlying areas.

Loved the goats!
Nice grassy area! Great just to sit and relax. Was there when it was to cold to enjoy.
