This beautiful park is the first of the series of parks on "Park Ave," my favorite downtown spot. Genevieve Randolph features the visuals and aroma of a peace rose garden. The roses are lush and beautiful when they bloom and bloom in different colors. The park is perfect to drive through, stroll through with or without your pet, or even have a picnic! The grass is soft and bouncy and the plethora of trees provide the perfect canopy on a warm Tallahassee day. Should you fancy a longer stroll, the Tallahassee downtown string of parks starts here and moves onward for about 3 blocks on either side of Tally's main road, Monroe St. The entire walk has the same peaceful bliss as Genevieve Randolph and is lit up on most evenings and especially around the holidays.
Kids enjoyed the event and I enjoyed the food.
