Had dinner at Smith's Landing. Very nice view on the water. Had crab and artichoke dip, delicious. Dinner was surf and turf. The lobster tail was a good size.

Gentrytown Park is well kept and within walking distance from my home. We took our husky for a nice run in the park. Only downside, the bathrooms were locked.

This would be a very pretty, nice park if the residents and street population didn't treat it like a garbage pit. Like the rest of Antioch this place is full of garbage and is treated really poorly. It makes me sad because this is a great place for a community to gather and spend time together but it's just so full of trash it makes it hard to enjoy. It is quite spacious and features several amenities such as a playground, large fields, bathrooms and a baseball field. It's a shame that it isn't valued more highly and treated like it should be.

Bathrooms need a little attention but this is a great park to bring your family to. Don't be surprised if you see parked cars with smoke coming out the windows. That parking lot is far from the playground though so I don't think kids really notice. Great place for well behaved dogs, just be mindful of your surroundings. We like bringing frisbees and kites depending on the weather. The park seems to be connected/adjacent to an elementary school, so if the baseball diamond is occupied you can probably use theirs if it's the weekend.
