This park is adjacent to the Board of Elections and the Onslow County Animal Shelter. I provided the animal shelter's hours for those interested in adoption. The park features a small, circular design with a compact playground and exercise equipment, all paved. While handicapped spots are not visible, parking is available alongside the wooden fence. A notable feature is a small, wooden picnic table surrounded by tall, long pine trees, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Nice! *please drive slow, very young children running around the area. Yes-restrooms Yes-pets on leash
Great park for walking your dog or just hanging out in nature. Play area for kids. Basketball courts. Covered picnic area. Restrooms. Very peaceful park no matter what you do here
This park is really nice! My son loves running and playing around here however I gave a 1 star to bring attention anyone reading the reviews that there are sketchy people that just hang out in the park . While my son and I were playing a lady who was well over 40 kept looking at us and asking to play with us in the round table thing that spins, we kindly denied and she kept asking until she left. She seemed coherent so I did not think of the possibility of maybe being someone who is special needs although it could def be possible. the whole interaction gave me a sudden vibe of panic where I immediately had me and son leave the park. I freaked out and saw previous reviews in here of other people saying that sketchy adults hang out in their picnic tables. Again the park is awesome but that’s definitely something of concern.
Great park with lots of shade.
Cute neighborhood park near the animal shelter and utility office. It has a pavilion, a good size playground, a walking track and exercise machines, bathrooms. It's also near an old cemetery. We like to visit the park and then the old cemetery to pay our respects. A few veterans are buried there. Always greeted by friendly locals at this park.
When Google exported structured hours, they’re surfaced here instead of being buried in the raw payload.
