This is a huge space that allows dogs to run off leash and take a dip in the river. This was our dog's first off-leash, wilderness experience, and we found interactions with other dogs and their humans at times uncomfortable with some dogs/owners welcoming energetic play, some tolerating it, and others resenting it.

This is our dogs idea of a day in Disneyland! This dog park connects with the National Forest, allowing for a 3 mile hike within its boundaries partially along the Deschutes river, but you can also continue into a much larger hike. If your dog loves swimming there are multiple good beaches. Tons of other dogs. We go about once a year when coming through Bend, never met an aggressive dog yet.

This is by far the best dog walking park I’ve ever been to. It was great to bring our English Bulldog out to get acclimated with other dogs and humans. A couple must haves if it’s your first time. I use the AllTrails App. So I don’t get lost. There are a lot of trails. Bring water and a collapsible bowl for your pup. It’s a walk to the river. Depending on the breed of dog I suppose. Ours gets hot quick. Overall it was a great place with lots of friendly dogs and people. Just what we were looking for.

This place is awesome! Vast open Forest space for dogs to roam or walk, so many different trails that all lead to the river in just about a mile and then miles of trail to walk along the river. I noticed that all the dogs brought there were well socialized and well behaved. It's a dusty one though so make sure you're prepared for a dirty dog after.

Fabulous off leash huge dog walking area. Tons of trails, lots of shade, river side trails, just wonderful. Lots of trash cans near the parking but not so much in the park, which is understandable. Pit toilets at the main trailhead. Our fur babies had a fabulous time!! Quite dusty in Sept, just to be aware.
